Bloodborne Kart, the extravagant project announced by Lililth Walther, author of the Bloodborne PSX demake, shows itself in the first gameplay sequences thanks to a series of clips published on Twitter.
As we can see in the footage below, the project is still in the early stages, but we can get an idea of some of the mechanics that we will find in the full game. It will be possible, for example, to use a kind of turbo to increase speed and use the ramps to perform jumps, objects in the scenarios will also be destructible, although for the moment the author has not yet decided whether or not the vehicles will be slowed down when they impact on them.
In addition, there will be various obstacles represented by the monsters of Yarnham that we can crush with cogwheels. Finally, in addition to the simple races, apparently there will also be a kind of Battle Mode in the arena, in which players can do battle.
For the uninitiated, Bloodborne Kart, as the name suggests, is an arcade racing game that is inspired by the famous work of FromSoftware, all with a PSX graphics. The project is still in the early stages of development, with the author yet to announce a release period. Bloodborne PSX took about 13 months of development, but in this case Walther has an advantage as he can reuse several assets from the previous project.
