Devil May Cry 5: overall sales unveiled, beats Devil May Cry 4

Capcom has revealed the total sales of Devil May Cry 5 made until December 31, 2021: 5 million copies. This is the best result for a chapter in the series, surpassing that of Devil May Cry 4, stopped at 4.8 million copies.

Devil May Cry 5 was launched on March 8, 2019 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In 2020, the Special Edition was launched for PS5 and Xbox Series X and S, while in 2021 the game arrived on Luna, Amazon’s subscription cloud gaming service.

As a result, the latest Devil May Cry has seen the release of several versions and has posted sales of 100,000 / 200,000 units over the past few quarters, proving to be a long-running hit.
