Gran Turismo 7: Patch 1.08 available for PS5 and PS4 (updated)

As of now, Gran Turismo 7 Patch 1.08 is available for PS5 and PS4. However, at the moment it is unclear what new features it introduces, while the game servers are still offline.

In these minutes Polyphony Digital has published the Patch 1.08 of Gran Turismo 7 for PS5 and PS4, with the game servers, however, are still offline, practically a day and a half after the start of scheduled maintenance yesterday.

Update: With a long post on the official Gran Turismo 7 website, Kazunori Yamauchi has explained why the servers are still offline and why the rewards of some races have been changed.

Update 2: Gran Turismo 7 servers are back online again on PS5 and PS4.

There are currently no official notes available for Gran Turismo 7 update 1.08, but we’ll be sure to update the news as soon as there are precise details about it. According to MP1ST, the update weighs in at around 354MB.

According to the reports on the network, even after downloading and installing the update, it is impossible to connect to the servers of Gran Turismo 7, so they are still offline. This means that you can’t access most of the game‘s content, including single player modes.

However, the publication of Patch 1.08 gives us hope that Polyphony Digital has managed to identify and fix the problem of the previous update that forced the developers to turn off the servers of Gran Turismo 7 for so many hours.
